All persons who are interested in applying to enroll in Kumamoto Gakuen University should begin by expressing their interest to us directly via e-mail, postal letter, fax, or telephone. We will publish the examination ID numbers of successful applicants on this site.  Only successful applicants will be notified by mail.
Admission fee payment deadline Friday, March 1, 2019
First period tuition fee payment deadline and document submission deadline Friday, March 22, 2019

 

Eligibility

Applicants who do not hold Japanese nationality and have completed or are expected to complete a curriculum which is equivalent to 12 years of school education in Japan, 8 years of which were completed in school outside of Japan, are eligible.

Selection Method

  1. Screening of the application documents
  2. Written examination*
  3. Interview

* Applicants must take or have already taken both the "Japanese as a Foreign Language " and "Japan and the World " subject tests from a session of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) that was held in either 2016 or 2017.

* All applicants except those applying for the English Department must take the Japanese version of the " Japan and the World " EJU subject test. Applicants applying for the English Department must take the English version of the " Japan and the World " EJU subject test.

* Applicants who have taken the EJU more than once must choose one of sessions for submission when applying.
